Our au pair from Mexico, Ana, and her Chinese host sister are making cookies! It is a great way to spend some time together, to learn some new English words and to taste the delicious cookies! Firstly, girls are preparing all necessary ingredients such as flour, butter, eggs, milk and chocolate. Then, they are mixing them up. Ana’s host sister is excellent at making cookies, she can do almost everything by herself! Then, the girls are forming the cookies and putting them into the oven. They cannot wait to see the results of their hard work! Meanwhile, Ana is teaching her host sister how to say the names of the ingredients in English. It is so easy to remember these new names when you have used all of the ingredients before! The girls are cleaning the kitchen and counting down the last minutes to take out the cookies from the oven. Finally, the cookies are done! What a smell! Having a foreign sister at home is so much fun!
